# Liberation font corresponding-source snapshot

The complete, unmodified upstream Git snapshot accompanies the separately distributed Liberation Sans font binaries.

This is a commit snapshot, not a claimed original 1.07.4 release tarball. It includes all 16 editable SFDs, the original Makefile, export/conversion scripts, build instructions, authors, history and license files. Follow the included upstream README and Makefile for build requirements and the original scripts/fontexport.pe for export. GPLv2 is reproduced in COPYING, with the Liberation terms and font exception in License.txt. The existing LICENSE_LIBERATION remains unchanged beside the font binaries.

An unmodified-source FontForge audit matched every glyph outline/component/instruction, advance width/sidebearing and cmap mapping for all four distributed Sans styles; 15 of 19 raw OpenType tables matched. Remaining differences are cmap encoding, the compiler's OS/2 version/USE_TYPO_METRICS policy, FFTM timestamp and head checksum. This is strong technical correspondence evidence, not byte-identical reproduction or legal certification. The original PDF.js font binaries have not been replaced with rebuilt fonts.

The source archive and license files are provided together at this distribution location. Public delivery and served-byte verification remain pending until an authorized deployment. No written-offer alternative is being made.
