CHECK A TEST PRINT FIRST
Long-edge or short-edge flip?
Compare paper orientation and physical flip axes without a file, then make an orientation test.
01 · Paper and reading direction
02 · Front and a fresh back face
The long edge of portrait paper is a vertical axis, suitable for turning sideways.
The selected axis matches the reading style.
The dashed line marks the physical axis. The back is drawn as a separate face, so letters are never mirrored.
Four basic combinations
- Portrait + sideways reading → long edge
- Landscape + sideways reading → short edge
- Portrait + upward reading → short edge
- Landscape + upward reading → long edge
This tool accepts no user PDF and does not determine refeed order. Printers and drivers may apply extra rotation. It does not infer option names or duplex support for a printer model. Confirm with a physical test.

Privacy and file handling
PDF processing and previews run in this browser. Document files, names, contents and metadata are not sent to a server or saved in browser storage. There are no ads or third-party scripts in the processing area. Static-site access may still produce server logs.
Your original is unchanged. Output is for printing; link, bookmark, accessibility-tag and signature preservation or secure removal of hidden data is not guaranteed. Even a small scanned file can use substantial memory. Physical-printer and all-browser validation are not claimed.
